Winning Pitchers is a small focused training academy that offers individualized player skill development.  We have used digital computer video analysis for 10 years to identify player’s strengths and opportunities for reaching higher performance levels.  Players have individualized training plans with set goals of achievement.
We are highly specialized and one of the top pitching training academy in in the USA.  We do over 2,500 one hour lessons per year.  All pitchers improve dramatically with their arm care, mechanics, delivery, command and velocity.  We average 4-12 mph gains with every pitcher we train which is documented from lesson one.  There are pitchers that travel in each month from throughout the USA for a special four hour one on one advance training session.  See map below showing states players traveled from.
More importantly our pitchers remain healthy as they learn to pitch the right way.  Our facility includes an arm care and shoulder work out area.  Our Ultimate Training program teaches pitchers that pre-hab prevents re-hab.  The month of August use to be a month to take some time off….however now it is one of our busiest months.   This is due to seeing pitchers for the first time with arm and shoulder issues.  We find that it is due to a combination of three areas….1) poor mechanics 2) poor conditioning 3) over use

Professional Training

The WP staff has been the same four trainers for 10 years. Their knowledge of pitching, hitting and fielding mechanics is deep. This depth of knowledge lead to the development of the US Patent “Pitchers Power Drive” which is now used by 14 MLB teams and over 225 Colleges in just 2 ½ yrs..  Top collegiate programs are training with the PPD including the Universities of South Carolina, Vanderbilt and many others.  At the professional level, Drew Storen, Stanford Univ. 2009 10th pick, 1st round and now Washington Nationals closer has used the PPD for 2 years. He ranked 6th in the MLB this year with 43 saves and 6 wins.  Top teams from the professional playoffs this year have PPD’s in their organizations. Texas, Detroit, Milwaukee and pitchers Lance Lynn with St. Louis and Corey Wade with NY. We initially developed the PPD 6 years ago and have used in thousands of lessons to develop our pitchers. Since we have developed the Hitters Power Drive and Softball Power Drive that are just as popular with Professional and Collegiate teams.
