Goals of Winning Pitchers Fall Baseball Program
1) Provide Metro West committed baseball players a high-level competitive fall league. Competitive baseball improves learning and skills.
2) Pitchers that are trained and throw strikes and get outs
3) Defensive players that make plays so pitchers can average 12-17 pitch innings so not to over use arms.
4) Plenty of quality pitchers so not to over pitch in fall. Limit innings after spring and summer baseball seasons. Fine tune with best pitching instruction in New England.
5) Professional instruction provided by Winning Pitchers Baseball Academy trainers who are ex-college players.
6) Playing a Baseball Academy level schedule of 7 quality games with focus on developing player skills.
7) Training clinics and sessions at Winning Pitchers Baseball Academy to improve skills and take to the higher-level weekend games.
8) Players and parents enjoy high-level quality games and have fun
9) Prepare players for high school baseball
10) Provide area town players opportunity to get to know each other and become friends. These friendships grow into high school baseball and create long-term respect for the game through a quality competitive learning environment.
11) Football / soccer players play later 4:00 games

Winning Pitchers Fall League
It all started seven years ago when Winning Pitchers fielded their first fall High School varsity team. From coaching and running the Ashland Post 77 Legion Team that summer we kept 10 legion players on the diamond for the fall team and recruited four Senior Babe Ruth players. It was a high-level travel fall team that recorded a record of 11-0-1 against teams from though out New England. The one tie was in a double header vs. Frozen Ropes Maine. All the players had a great experience.
Fall baseball is a time to tune your game up and train in a competitive environment while having coaching and support to create a learning experience while having fun. This is what Winning Pitchers mission is for our fall baseball league. Our original successful single travel team has evolved into a league of 12 teams at the 12U, 15U and 17U level. Like our Memorial Day Tournament players from all the surrounding towns come together to play on mixed all-star level teams coached by Winning Pitchers Trainers and Team Massachusetts coaches.
Our 2008 fall season just ended and several parents said, “Where can you go see this high quality of baseball in a fall league….where a different pitcher can pitch each inning and throw strikes with command of the strike zone!
We cannot wait to see our players play again in the fall of 2009. It gives us a chance to see players on the diamond that we work with so hard together in our facility for months.
