Goals of Winning Pitchers Fall Baseball Program

1) Provide Metro West committed baseball players a high-level competitive fall league. Competitive baseball improves learning and skills.

2) Pitchers that are trained and throw strikes and get outs

3) Defensive players that make plays so pitchers can average 12-17 pitch innings so not to over use arms.

4) Plenty of quality pitchers so not to over pitch in fall. Limit innings after spring and summer baseball seasons. Fine tune with best pitching instruction in New England.

5) Professional instruction provided by Winning Pitchers Baseball Academy trainers who are ex-college players.

6) Playing a Baseball Academy level schedule of 7 quality games with focus on developing player skills.

7) Training clinics and sessions at Winning Pitchers Baseball Academy to improve skills and take to the higher-level weekend games.

8) Players and parents enjoy high-level quality games and have fun

9) Prepare players for high school baseball

10) Provide area town players opportunity to get to know each other and become friends. These friendships grow into high school baseball and create long-term respect for the game through a quality competitive learning environment.

11) Football / soccer players play later 4:00 games

SAN DIEGO, Calif.

For the 10th consecutive year Collegiate Baseball is rolling out its Best of Show story which showcases the most innovative new baseball products that were displayed at the recent American Baseball Coaches Association Convention in San Diego. The 64th annual convention featured 264 exhibitors, an all-time high for a west coast convention. Collegiate Baseball and I search the trade show floor for products and
services that are considered unique and useful for coaches. These awards have become quite popular with both the vendors and our readers. Perhaps this year is a
good time to review why we do this. First of all, we appreciate innovation and quality. We understand how hard it is to bring new products to the market. There is no single #1 product. They are all #1 in our eyes. As it turns out, the products selected this

Pitchers Power Drive
A unique, new tool for pitchers was a huge hit at the ABCA Convention. It is a pivoting piece of strong steel that is put in front of the pitching rubber and teaches pitchers to start their delivery from knee lift towards home plate by initiating the starting force with their back
standing leg knee, which loads their weight back.
This initiates the kinetic power chain of throwing a baseball and creates more power into landing. The back side power initiation with weight back creates more force at pitch landing by speeding the hips, torso and arm speed creating a more explosive pitch delivery. John Miller, a former college pitcher and owner of Winning Pitchers Baseball Academy, designed the Pitchers Power Drive to increase his velocity and use in training others at his academy. Pitchers have increased speed from 4-10 mph. The Pitchers Power Drive, which is built like a tank and weighs 18 pounds, costs $215.95.
